Givore is a free app for handing things to people nearby. Post it, somebody asks, they collect it. Nobody sets a price and nobody hands over cash. Seattle already has strong Buy Nothing groups, so much of what follows will sound familiar. That is on purpose.
Seattle worked most of this out first. All of it carries over, and it is worth writing down.
A short reply costs nothing. Being ignored is the part everybody dislikes.

You can also drop the swap and just give it away. Both endings are normal.
