Givore is a free app. You post something, a neighbor asks, they collect it. Nothing is sold. Givore is small in San Francisco so far, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. The part you control is putting something on the map.
Some items sit for weeks. Almost always the post is the problem, not the item. Here is the fix for each.
Say the size, the age, and that it has been on a frame. Without those three, most people scroll past.
Photograph it switched on. That one picture answers the only question anybody has.
Name the model and say whether ink is included. Half of these go untaken for want of one line.
Heavy and awkward. Say how many flights of stairs and whether it folds.
Measure it before posting. Height and width, and how deep it is. Nobody can guess that from a photo.
Say exactly what is wrong. Someone who repairs things will take it, and only if they trust the description.
Daylight, and nothing else in the frame beside it.
Size, model or measurement. Numbers get read and adjectives get skipped.
